I am Barbara Phair . While vacationing in Florida I began watercolour lessons. Now I belong to an amazing MWC art group led by Christa Eggers and I work in pastels, coloured pencil and acrylics.
My work is represented by the MWC Art Gallery, and I paint commissioned portraits in coloured pencil.
Art is my labour of love .
Christa Eggers lives in Highgate and teaches painting at the MWC. She also taught at the Southampton Art School for 15 years and workshops around Ontario.
Her work , in watercolour, soft pastels, acrylics and oils are hanging in the MWC Art Gallery, and she paints commissioned portraits in soft pastels. Painting outdoors with the MWC artist group all summer is a joy.
Patricia O’Connor is originally from London Ontario and resides in rural Elgin County. She has been involved in artistic expression as a musician and now, also, as an artist who works mainly with watercolours, pastels and acrylics.
Pat has always felt a deep appreciation for Nature and through art, has learned to see so much more. Pat tries to convey this in all her paintings.
