Andrew Collins Trio September Performers at Mary Webb Centre
This Canadian Folk Music Award winning trio kicks off the 2017-18 concert series at Mary Webb Centre on Saturday, September 23 @ 8 p.m.  Collins, who’s comfortable on mandolin, fiddle, guitar, mandola and mandocello – is zeroing with his beloved trio: fellow string guru Mike Mezzatesta, who shines on guitar, mandolin, fiddle and mandola, and James McEleney, holding it down on the bass, mandocello and vocals. Showcasing a popular collision of bluegrass, folk, jazz, classical and swing, Collins and Co. appear to live by the old adage, “idle hands are the devil’s workshop”.
