New Orleans style jazz, funk, and blues, red Hot Ramble will close out the 2013-2014 Mary Webb season in style. A sultry and saucy vocal and instrument ensemble not often sound outside the Deep South, Red Hot Ramble will bring their musical gumbo to Highgate June 21 at 8pm.

The Laws

The award winning folk-grass duo of John and Michelle Law will grace the Mary Webb stage May 24 at 8pm. Husband and wife off stage, their country harmonies have kept The Laws in popular demand as they’ve toured North America for more than a decade.

Royal Wood

Date: April 26th

Playing to packed crowds at the Mary Webb Centre in the past, this multi-Juno nominee, Canadian pop sensation needs no introduction. Royal Wood’s recent album and single spent several weeks atop CBC Radio 2’s Top 20 list, and his performance at the Mary Webb April 26 at 8pm, will be a highlight of this year’s calendar.

The Marigolds

Date: March 29th
Gwen Swick, Suzie Vinnick, and Caitlin Hanford combine their singer-songwriter talents to comprise the blues, jazz, country-bluegrass combinations, which have made The Marigolds fan favourites across Canada. If you loved The Good Lovelies last season, then you’ll want to get your tickets soon to see this Juno nominated trio when they serenade the Mary Webb Centre March 29th at 8pm.

Steel City Rovers

Date: March 8th

The Steel City Rovers are a Celtic rooted band that Roves through their musical performance in an adventuresome manner. In time for St. Patrick’s Day, the Rovers will bring out the Irish in everyone when they visit the Mary Webb Centre Saturday, March 8 for an 8pm concert.

Sarah Slean

Date: February 15
Multi Juno and Gemini award songstress Sarah Slean will bring her critically acclaimed pop sounds to the Mary Webb Centre February 15 at 8pm for what is sure to be a sold out show. Slean can be heard in heavy roation on CBC Radio 2, and was described by the Toronto Star as an, “awe inspiring panorama of a mature poet and musician,” for her recent album, Land & Sea.
