We have a new addition to our concert line-up this year! Voiceprints Choir is coming to The Mary Webb Centre on December 21, 2024 to help us celebrate the season with a special fundraising concert for our local Food Bank. This choir has 41 singers, a director and a keyboard accompanist who will be performing two 45-minute sets filled with popular Christmas music and carols. Tickets are only $15 plus a donation of non-perishable food items or monetary donations for the local food bank.
Voiceprints Choir
In 2006, director Jan Telfer recruited accompanist Mirah Simpson and formed the community choir known as Voiceprints. It is truly a community choir with members from Chatham to London, and Arkona to Rodney gathering together to rehearse and perform Christmas and Spring concerts in Glencoe. We come together with varying degrees of musical experience and our ages range from15 to 90. These varied voices and skills meld together to create a unique sound.
Voiceprints performs a wide range of musical genres, from classical, gospel, and spiritual to pop, jazz and Broadway. We are pleased to be bringing our voices to the beautiful Mary Webb Centre and look forward to celebrating the season with everyone.
“Every voice leaves its print on the soul.”
