Voiceprints Choir
In 2006, director Jan Telfer recruited accompanist Mirah Simpson and formed the community choir known as Voiceprints. It is truly a community choir with members from Chatham to London, and Arkona to Rodney gathering together to rehearse and perform Christmas and Spring concerts in Glencoe. They come together with varying degrees of musical experience and their ages range from 15 to 90. These varied voices and skills meld together to create a unique sound.
Voiceprints performs a wide range of musical genres, from classical, gospel, and spiritual to pop, jazz and Broadway. “We are pleased to be bringing our voices back to the beautiful Mary Webb Centre and look forward to celebrating the season with you.”
“Every voice leaves its print on the soul.”
