Featured Artist Sept/Oct, Tom FentonTom Fenton is a self taught multimedia artist and musical instrument luthier.Although art was just a hobby, Tom continued this after moving to Highgate in Dec 2008.Art has been a long time interest from even grade school. At 11 years old Tom won a 3rd prize in a cross Canada General Mills Cereal art contest. Often he was called on by teachers to do special projects and displays. He was also asked to design crests for different organizations such as hockey, figure skating, and aerospace .Tom was one of the first volunteers of the Mary Webb Center Art Gallery and had many of his paintings, clocks and sculptures on display here over the years.
