The MWC opened its 2012/13 season on September 22 with a double bill featuring folk singer / songwriters Jeremy Fisher and Rose Cousins.
Both are multi-award winners. Fisher was twice nominated for Junos while Cousins won last year’s East Coast Music Award for Female Artist and Songwriter of the Year. Cousins other awards include two Canadian Folk Music Awards, two Music PEI awards and a Nova Scotia Music Award.
