Dennis Vaughan
Dennis Vaughan is a transplanted Newfoundlander now residing in Ridgetown. A few years before retiring from a career in education, he pursued his interest in art by taking lessons from Dave Hoddinott a well known local artist in St. John’s. The primary subjects of his paintings are landscapes and scenes depicting his native province and are acrylic renditions of some of his photography. He continued his learning in Ontario under Marie Spence and Christa Eggers who provides lessons at the Mary Webb Centre. He is both intrigued and intimidated by the disciplines of watercolor and pastels and looks forward to further lessons on offer at the Centre and appreciates the opportunity to display his work at the Mary Webb Gallery for the enjoyment of concert goers and the general public.
