Although the weather was not cooperating, everyone who joined us at the Mary Webb Centre on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 for The Western Swing Authority was on their feet for a thrilling evening. Western Swing is a combination of country oldies, new country, blues and combinations of all!
The group of 7 showcased the wonderful musical talent of 6 band members and the vocal talent of their lead singer. They were all very impressed with The Mary Webb Centre, so much so that at the beginning of the concert, lead singer Stacey suggested that we all take a moment’s silence to just take in charm of the building. At one point in their performance they joined the audience for an intimate acoustical musical treat.
