Two trumpets, a french horn, a trombone and a tuba combine in that most splendid of small ensembles, the brass quintet. This group from the Windsor Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Mary Webb Centre on Friday 12th April at 7:00pm (note early start time). They will touch on the music of Duke Ellington, Aaron Copland, John-Philip Sousa, J.S. Bach, some ragtime and even some soulful music from the Renaissance! They will also delight the audience with a send-up of the William Tell Overture in “The Lone Arranger.” Tickets which include light refreshments are $25.00 or $10.00 for students.
